A note from Victoria
Most photographers will book your session, take the photos, deliver the gallery — and that's beautiful. That's a service. I do something a little slower. I want to know your family before I photograph it.
By the time we meet, nothing is a surprise. We're not strangers — we're old friends with a camera between us. The photographs that come out of a session like that don't really look like photographs. They look like your real life, on a particularly beautiful day.

How a session unfolds
A real conversation, a calm preparation, and one warm hour together — that's the whole rhythm of it.
Before
Once you reach out, I won't disappear into a pricing PDF. We talk — about your family, the season you're in, the room you imagine these photographs hanging in one day. Most of the work that makes a session feel right happens in that first hour of simply listening.
Between
A few days before your date, you'll get a personal guide from me — wardrobe ideas built around your skin tones and the location, a short what-to-bring list, and honest tips for photographing with kids (or teenagers, or grandparents). Nothing overwhelming. Just enough that you arrive already knowing what's going to happen.
The day
When we meet, the first ten minutes belong to the kids — running, climbing, getting bored of me being there. Then I start photographing, almost invisibly. I'll suggest small things — "lean into him for a second", "look at her like that again" — but mostly I just follow what's already happening between you.
